As always, Bella is the ‘Bella’ of the ball any time residents and visitors come across her at Williamsburg Health and Rehab. Even when she tries to take a mid-day nap, she is interrupted by her admirers who come by to pet and cuddle her.

She doesn’t mind the constant attention. She is a welcomed and valued part of the facility and provides companionship and love for those who reside there. She has become the mascot of Williamsburg HRC. Plus, on a very delighted note, studies show that the presence of dogs improves morale, lowers stress and can increase productivity. It certainly helps build rapport and it’s that reason why more healthcare facilities use pets for therapeutic purposes.
