Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is located in Southeastern Kentucky, near the beautiful University of the Cumberlands campus. We provide many services including 24-hour nursing, physicians, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services. We also provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

We emphasize lifelong learning, personal growth, well-being and health. We offer everything needed for long-term care, or short-term rehabilitation (both inpatient and outpatient). Our facilities offer calm, comfortable surroundings to enhance personal freedom and dignity.

Our facility features a library, private chapel, secure courtyard, private room options, a beauty parlor, and a physician’s lounge. Each large room has a private bathroom. The recreation areas are spacious. The private courtyard is accessible from our common areas. Our well-equipped rehabilitation facility is fully staffed, and offers both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care.

Our facility offers 24-hour nursing care, physicians, pharmaceutical services, lab services, along with speech, physical and occupational therapies. We also feature special menus and diets, created and monitored carefully by a registered dietitian.

We feature a beautiful lobby area and quaint, cozy dayrooms for families and residents to visit or have activities together such as birthday parties. Residents and families can also enjoy a cozy front porch with ceiling fans for southern comfort or the garden areas where we host cookouts during summer months. Our “Sunny Brook” day room includes a bird aviary and fish tanks, overlooking our beautiful outdoor garden area and fish pond.

Who We Are

Courtney graduated from University of the Cumberlands with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. Courtney remembers “volunteering as a child at this nursing facility and discovering my love for working with this population, later doing an internship here.” She is currently obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social work…

Shonda is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. She has worked at our facility since 2004.

Mike has worked at the facility since March 2005 and always makes sure everything is running smoothly.

Hope is a graduate of Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Nursing and has worked here since February 2012 as a unit nurse. She became the Clinical Coordinator in 2014.

Brenda is a graduate of Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Nursing and has worked at our facility since 2010 as a unit nurse. She became the MDS Coordinator in 2017.

Graduate of Pineville Technical College of Nursing Worked at the facility since February 2016 serving as the educator of nurse aide training classes and took on the role as Clinical Coordinator in December 2017

Laura Creekmore | Administrator

Administrator Laura Creekmore is a graduate of The University of Tennessee College of Nursing where she earned her BSN, and went on to gain experience as a longterm care director of nursing, as well as additional background in acute care and ER nursing. She joined Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation in 2008 as a unit charge nurse.…

Joy Petrey | Director of Nursing

Joy Petrey, director of nursing, has been an RN since 1987. She has been director of nursing since 2011. She began her career at WCHR as Director of Nursing in 1993. She has also won the KAHCF statewide award for Director of Nursing.

Tina is a registered dietary manager who began her career at WCHR in 2004, starting out as a cook, and then working her way up to dietary manager. She prides herself in preparing and providing delicious meals and snacks to the residents, and knows every resident’s favorite foods by heart. Several family members of residents…
