Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center had their annual Alzheimer’s Memory Garden Walk and planted flowers in honor of World Alzheimer’s Awareness Day. Everyone hopes there comes a day that there can be a cure for this disease so that no one else and their loved ones have to go through it.
September 18 was National Cheeseburger day, so of course residents and staff at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center participated. They celebrated with some delicious burgers and beans.
This week was National Rehabilitation Week and staff at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated their wonderful therapists. They played a couple of games that consisted of guessing which baby picture belonged to which therapist and answering trivia questions about them. Williamsburg’s annual Old Fashioned Days celebration has become a tradition for the residents and staff. It’s always wonderful to get out in the community and see the beautiful downtown. Many of the residents were born and raised in Williamsburg and love to reminisce about days gone by. Everyone always has a wonderful time.
