Administrators Week: a woman in a white dress and jacket with two women on either side of her holding a clear award

Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation staff were honored at the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities’ Quality Awards Banquet recently at the Galt House including the Best of Kentucky – Nursing and Rehabilitation recognition.

Those honored were as follows:

  • Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center – Best of Kentucky Nursing and
    Rehabilitation
  • Teresa Mitchell – Top 10 Nursing
  • Tina Noe – Top 10 Supportive Care

“It is a privilege to honor caregivers for the outstanding care and devotion they show every day to their residents. These honorees are an example of the many Kentucky providers and caregivers delivering quality care,” said KAHCF Board Chair Terry Skaggs. “This recognition is a testament to their dedication to their residents.”

The Best of Kentucky – Nursing and Rehabilitation honorees were selected based on CMS star ratings of four or higher to apply, and then satisfaction surveys of residents and families.

“It is wonderful to see Teresa, Tina, and our staff recognized for their dedication and commitment to quality care to their residents,” said Williamsburg administrator Laura Creekmore.

More than 700 long-term care providers met during the meeting, energized by general sessions challenging them with strategies to cope with stress on the job, hiring and retaining quality staff, and breakout sessions on a variety of issues facing long-term care providers.

The week was capped off with the Quality Awards Banquet on November 15. The Association
honored 33 facilities with the Best of Kentucky – Nursing and Rehabilitation Award.

The residents and staff of Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center are very proud of Teresa and Tina for their accomplishment in their field. Also to the facility for being recognized as one of the Best of Kentucky.
